Azul Platino granite has a light grey background and fine graining. The slab has a mottled appearance black and white speckling. This granite may also have small black spots scattered across the surface. When this granite is exposed to light it gives off a faint shimmering effect which has a platinum blue sparkle.
The reason for this effect is the due to the feldspar crystals1 embedded inside the granite. The name Azul Platino in English translates to Platinum Blue (the granite is named after it’s shimmering effect under light).
